"Chubu Electric Power Group Annual Report 2013 (CSR and Financial Report)" Released

This is to announce that Chubu Electric Power today released "Chubu Electric Power Group Annual Report 2013," which covers the Chubu Electric Power Group's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and financial matters, primarily during FY2012.

Seeking to help all of our stakeholders gain better understanding of the business activities of the Chubu Electric Group, this year's report introduces the day-to-day efforts made at our work sites to ensure that electricity reaches our customers, in addition to providing an overview of opinions received in the course of dialogues with stakeholders and presenting the Group's own thinking.

In addition, a Feature Article focuses on the following four areas, which are of particular concern to all of the report's readers and of vital importance to the Group:

    1. Measures to Improve the Safety of the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station;

    2. Measures to Ensure Buisiness Continuity in the Event of a Large Disaster;

    3. Measures to Ensure a Stable Supply to Electricity; and

    4. Measures to Improve Management Efficiency.
