Establishment of Hamaoka Advisory Board for Safety

Chubu Electric Power announces its establishment of the Hamaoka Advisory Board for Safety. Efforts have been underway to improve Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station's safety, but we decided to launch this Board to receive advice and recommendation from extensively experienced nuclear specialists aiming to further enhance the Station's safety.

Board members are to observe on-site work, attend meetings, and discuss with station personnel around twice a year at Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station, in turn compiling safety improvement recommendations. The first round of this initiative will start on November 27, 2017.

Chubu Electric Power will continue making efforts to further enhance the safety of Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station.
