BackResults of Voluntary Inspections of Pipe Wall Thickness at Chita Thermal Power Plant No.4

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc.
Based on inspection plans submitted to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, we are performing thorough inspections of pipe wall thicknesses at our thermal power plants.
On November 27, we shut down Chita Thermal Power Plant No.4 and began inspection. So far, we have found several pipe sections that fall short of the minimum required wall thickness.
These sections have been scheduled for repair.
