Expansion of the area covered by Patnet Aichi (Aichi Prefectural Police Department Mail Magazine), the news and accident information delivery service

On January 10 (Dial 110 Day), Chubu Electric Power will expand Patnet Aichi, the news and accident information delivery service provided jointly since January 2005 with the Aichi Prefectural Police Department to 18 police stations within Nagoya City and surrounding areas, covering all 46 police precincts in Aichi prefecture. Expansion of this service is in response to requests from those currently using the service.
The Patnet Aichi service delivers information improving the safety of daily life via Pocketchu!, the community information delivery service available via cellular phones. Patnet Aichi sends information such as local news and regional accidents to cellular phones.
This service can draw attention to frequently occurring crimes by delivering information on incidents and accidents occurring in your community.
It also sends crime prevention information and improves the safety of daily life in communities.
