Winter electricity output sets new record (for the fourth time this winter)

At 11:00 am today, maximum power output from Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. set a new record of 23,900,000 kW, eclipsing the previous record set December 22, 2005.
Factors leading to this record output included continuous use of heating equipment due to cold morning temperatures that failed to rise significantly during the day.


Note: Maximum power output as of 11:00 a.m. refers to the volume of power output during the one-hour period from 10:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m.
