Results (final) of voluntary inspection of piping wall thicknesses at thermal power plants

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. has completed a voluntary inspection of piping wall thicknesses at its thermal power plants. Plans outlining such inspection were submitted to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency prior to commencement of the inspection.

The inspection, evaluation, and repair of all units involved have been completed and all subject parts (piping) have been verified as sound.

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. will continue to operate all units, as well as monitor and maintain correct piping wall thicknesses, with the utmost regard to safety.
