Revised schedule for transportation of new fuel for the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant in FY 2005

Chubu Electric Power made the following changes in the schedule for the transportation of new fuel for the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant in FY 2005.
In response to requests from Nuclear Fuel Industries, Ltd., the manufacturer of the fuel, which had hoped to transport fuel earlier due to reinforcement work on their plant facilities, we have rescheduled the transportation of new fuel for Reactor 3 at the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant from FY 2006 to the fourth quarter of FY 2005.

The transportation of new fuel for Reactor 4 at the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant, scheduled for the third quarter of FY 2005, was successfully completed on October 27-a fact we previously communicated to you on the same day.
