No malfunctions have been detected in our power supply facilities.

‹ Cause ›

The malfunction of Kansai Electric Power transmission lines, which occurred at around 8:52 a.m. on December 22, led to the parallel off of the power generators at the Kansai Electric Power Ooi power plant and disruption of the balance between supply and demand in the area covered by Kansai Electric Power. This affected our power transmission facilities, which are linked to those of Kansai Electric Power, reducing the frequency of power supplied by us for several minutes.
