FY2008 Periodic Hiring Plan and FY2007 Hiring for Immediate Needs

Chubu Electric plans to hire 500 employees during its FY2008 periodic hiring cycle. We continuously hire young talent to constantly boost our sales force and ensure that we maintain and pass down the technical skill for providing a stable supply of electric power.

The recruits will include an increasing number of technical staff to enable Chubu Electric to meet the solid demand for electric power and to secure sufficient personnel for anticipated levels of construction.

In addition, during the current fiscal year we will be hiring to fill immediate needs. We will be employing about 10 individuals as in the previous year to step up our efforts in the fields of sales, R&D, fuel, international projects and so on.
