New Summer Record Set for Single-Day Power Consumption 4 Year-Old Record Broken

Total electricity consumption for August 10 (from 00:00 hrs to 24:00) stood at 500.84 million kWh, which breaks the previous record of 500.11 million kWh set on August 1, 2002.


It is thought that the main reason for this is the increase in air-conditioner use due to rising summer temperatures.
