"Ecoborden" Developed as Interior Earthen Wall Material for Homes
- New home interior material takes advantage of Circulash functionality -

Chubu Electric, along with its affiliate Techno Chubu Co. Ltd. (President: Yutaka Yamamoto; 3-12 Ohe-cho, Minato-ku, Nagoya) and Kleben (President: Kiyoharu Nakagawa; 2-56, Yoshimoto-cho, Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya), has developed and marketed a new home interior earthen wall material containing Circulash (artificial zeolite)*1.

The new wall material is composed primarily of natural earth with Circulash added, helping to eliminate ammonia and other household odors and also providing the same humidity regulating effect as earthen walls containing diatomaceous earth.

*1: Artificial zeolite: zeolite produced using coal ash generated at the Hekinan Thermal Power Station as the raw material. It is a fine gray powder.
