BackConcerning the Submission of the Countermeasures for Preventing Recurrence Relevant to the Inspection Results of the Power Plants

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc.
The company has submitted, on March 30 of this year, the report concerning the 40 cases of incongruous cases that we have extract as result of carrying out the inspection of the deficiency of the necessary procedures and falsification of data concerning the nuclear, thermal and hydraulic power plants, to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency. We have also examined the countermeasures for preventing recurrence and we shall be enforcing them.
Today, we have consolidated the mechanism (Action Plan) of the countermeasures for preventing recurrence for the whole company relevant to the present matter, and we are pleased to announce that we have submitted the report the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency.
The company will enforce thoroughly the countermeasures to prevent their recurrence and the company is engaged in continuously improving them.
