New Arsenic Adsorbent CAMZ Released
Water cleaner removes arsenic with the power of Circulash

Chubu Electric and Amron Corporation (President: Yoshiro Miyamoto, address: 7-21 Suehiro-cho, Takamatsu City) have jointly developed and marketed CAMZ, a water purifier containing Circulash(*) artificial zeolite and capable of adsorbing arsenic.

By expanding the application of Circulash, a substance that is already widely used to clean water of heavy metal ions such as lead, for the additional purpose of adsorbing arsenic, the new product brings a high degree of adsorption capacity for tap water sources and for groundwater or factory effluent containing arsenic.

The product can be used in existing filtration towers and tanks.

Amron, Chubu Electric's partner in the development of this product, will manufacture and sell it.

1. Cleaning performance

• Arsenic removal testing

Tests show that CAMZ can remove at least 95% of the arsenic from a volume of water 3,000 times that of the filter material, thus proving both its excellent filtration capacity and durability.

Particle diameter:

0.3mm – 0.7mm (80 percent+)

Particle diameter may be altered to meet customer needs.
