Commencement of construction work on the Aichi Gamagori Biomass Power Plant

The Aichi Gamagori Biomass Power Generation LLC, jointly established by the Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. and SB Energy Corp. began construction work on the Aichi Gamagori Biomass Power Plant today.
The Aichi Gamagori Biomass Power Plant is a wood-burning biomass power plant with a power output of 50,000kW that will be constructed in Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture, and is scheduled to commence operation in August 2023.
We will move forward with the construction work with safety as the top priority, with the understanding and cooperation of the community residents as well as the various entities concerned.
