Changes to the FY2022 Low-level Radioactive Waste Shipment Schedule for Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station

Chubu Electric Power hereby announces that the following revisions have been made to the schedule for transport of low-level radioactive waste, notification of which was provided on March 30, 2022 in the press release entitled "Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station's FY2022 Schedule for Transport of New Fuel."

Due to inspection equipment malfunction, the voluntary inspection of low-level radioactive waste at the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station was interrupted for a month and the drums originally scheduled to be shipped (1,488 drums) haven not been completed inspection at this time. The 1,264 drums that have been inspected will be shipped in FY2023.
