Chubu Electric Power Recognized as "Excellent Health Management Company (White 500)"

Chubu Electric Power filed an application under the Excellent Health Management Company Certification System jointly administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Nippon Kenko Kaigi. We are pleased to announce that today we were recognized as an Excellent Health Management Company (White 500) in the large enterprise category for large corporations and medical corporations.

This is our third consecutive year to be honored with this distinction.

The Excellent Health Management Company Certification System is an initiative which honors companies practicing particularly outstanding health management based on their efforts to address local health issues and promote health in line with the vision of Nippon Kenko Kaigi.

Chubu Electric Power ranked 4th among the companies that applied and ranked 1st for the third consecutive year in the electricity and gas industry.

We provide comprehensive medical examinations for all employees and have occupational health staff provide individual health guidance. We also actively support behavioral change in exercise and sleep by using wearable devices.

Chubu Electric Power management, labor union, occupational health staff, and all stakeholders will work together to foster an environment where our employees keep both mentally and physically healthy and are able to devote themselves enthusiastically to their work.
