Seinaiji Hydroelectric Power Station Commenced Commercial Operation~Chubu Electric Power's 200th hydroelectric power station is in operation~

Chubu Electric Power has completed construction of the Seinaiji Hydroelectric Power Station ("the Power Station") and its commercial operation started today.
The Power Station is a run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plant with a generating output of 5,600 kW, utilizing the flowing water of the Kuro River and the Oguro River in the Tenryu River System.
Chubu Electric Power now owns 200 hydroelectric power plants with the commencement of the Power Station operation.
We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of the local community and relevant parties in the construction of the Power Station.
The Chubu Electric Power Group has positioned renewable energy as one of its main power sources that will contribute to achieving a carbon-free society as well as enhancing energy self-sufficiency, and we will continue active development in order to achieve our goal of "an expansion over 3.2 million kW through ownership, construction, and maintenance of renewable energy plants by around 2030".
