2 Demand for extra high-voltage power services: Down 1.5% YoY
(1) Commercial (office building and commercial facility customers)
Less use of air-conditioning equipment due to the weather and other factors resulted in a 5.9% decline in sales volume YoY for this category.
(2) Industrial and other (medium and large factory customers)
Automobile-related production declined due to the earthquake and tsunami disaster, but production began to pick up from the summer onwards, and this and other factors resulted in a 0.2% YoY increase in sales, with results equaling figures for the previous year.
