Transportation (Return) of New Fuel from Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station Reactor No. 2 Completed

This is to announce that, in keeping with our decommissioning plan for Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station Reactor No. 2, we have returned 40 new fuel assemblies that had been in storage at the reactor's spent fuel storage pool to the fuel processor. Details of the fuel's return are below.

With the completion of this transport, not only have all 148 new fuel assemblies stored in the spent fuel storage pool of Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station Reactor 2 been returned to the fuel processor, all of the fuel from decommissioned Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station Reactors 1 and 2 has been successfully shipped out.
