Development of New Services Using Renewable Energy~Services Targeting Customers Whose FIT-based Purchasing Period will be Ending~

Chubu Electric Power will be developing new services involving renewable energy (hereinafter this service) as part of the customer participation-based transaction service "Korekara Denki".

This service targets customers in the Chubu area whose purchasing period under the FIT scheme (fixed price purchasing scheme for renewable energy) will begin to end in November 2019.

As part of our efforts to provide for our customer's various needs, we will continue to buy up surplus power as well as provide a platform to connect customers who generate renewable energy-based electricity and companies looking to reduce their environmental footprint.

[Types of plans]

Overview	Start of application date
1　Plan in which Chubu Electric Power will be buying the electricity (Premium Plan, Amazon gift card plan, etc.) Chubu Electric Power will be buying the surplus power under this plan. The negotiated amount for the surplus power will be deducted from the customers' electricity fees under the Premium Plan or may be reimbursed in the form of Amazon gift cards.	May 13, 2019
2　Plan under which Chubu Electric will provide a platform that connects individuals and companies (WAON Plan) Chubu Electric Power will connect customers who generate renewable power and a company that wants to use renewable power. By sending clean electricity to the ION Group store, the customer can earn WAON points or have the negotiated amount for the clean electricity deducted from the electricity fees.	May 13, 2019
3　Plan under which the value of surplus electricity fluctuates depending time at which electricity is used (Renewable Energy Smart Plan) This plan assumes that the customer uses the surplus energy they generated for themselves. Discounts will be calculated based on the time of day in which the customer uses the electricity. The electricity fee will be reduced accordingly.	Summer of 2019 (Note) Simulations of reduction in fees under this plan will become available at the same time.
