When is my electric charge calculated?

Your electric charge is calculated from the day you begin your contract with Chubu Electric Power. For example, the day when you move into a new home and your electricity is turned on will be the same date your charges will start to be calculated.

When does the billing month term begin and end?

Your electric charge is calculated on the basis of the amount of electricity consumed from the meter reading date of the previous month till the day before the meter reading date of the current month.

How is the amount of electricity consumption measured?

The amount of electricity in kWh is measured by reading your meter. Our meter reader will give you a meter reading card every month, which will notify you of the amount. Additionally, the next month's meter reading date will also be noted on the card.

How is my electricity bill calculated?

Your monthly electricity bill includes a basic rate flat charge, an energy charge, and a payment credit for the prior bill's deduction from your bank account, plus a renewable energy surcharge and an additional solar surcharge.
