Construction Begins on Godo Biomass Power Plant

Today, Gifu Seino Green Power LLC, a joint venture by Chubu Electric Power and Marubeni Corporation, started construction on the Godo Biomass Power Plant.
The Godo Biomass Power Plant is a 7.5 MW wood-fired biomass power plant fueled mainly with unused thinned wood produced in Gifu Prefecture. The plant is being constructed in Godo-cho, Anpachi-gun, Gifu Prefecture and scheduled to begin operating in March 2023.
With the understanding and cooperation of the local community and relevant administrative offices, construction will proceed with safety as the highest priority.
