Chubu Electric Power Co.,Inc. (President & Director: Kingo Hayashi, "Chubu Electric Power") has decided to develop a solar power station (the "Station") utilizing unused land at a training facility owned by Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank, LTD. (President: Takaharu Hayashi, "Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank") in Yoro Town, Yoro District, Gifu Prefecture.
Also, Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc. (President: Yasunori Kamiya, "Miraiz") today signed an agreement with Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank for the introduction of off-site PPA services using the Station.

The Station will be developed by Chubu Electric Power as a solar power plant exclusively for Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank, and the electricity generated will be supplied through Miraiz to a total of 10 locations of Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank, including its head office (Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture), for 20 years, which is the contract term of the off-site PPA service. By utilizing the Station, Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank will be able to reduce its annual CO2 emissions by approximately 800 tons.

Chubu Electric Power will continue to develop the Station in consideration of the natural environment and with the understanding and cooperation of the local community and other related parties, aiming to start operation in March 2026.

The Chubu Electric Power Group has set a goal of expanding renewable energy to more than 3.2 million kW through ownership, construction, and maintenance around 2030.
