Commercial operation starts at Toyoake Nigori-ike Solar Power Station

Chubu Electric Power has completed construction of the Toyoake Nigori-ike Solar Power Station (the "Station") at Nigori-ike (an agricultural reservoir) in Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture, and has started its commercial operation.
This Station is a water-mounted photovoltaic power generation plant with a generating output of 1,750 kW installed in an agricultural reservoir. The electricity generated at this Station is supplied to Fujita Academy through Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc.
We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of the local community and relevant parties in the construction of the Station.
The Chubu Electric Power Group has positioned renewable energy as one of its main power sources that will contribute to achieving a carbon-free society as well as enhancing energy self-sufficiency, and we will continue active development in order to achieve our goal of "an expansion over 3.2 million kW through ownership, construction, and maintenance of renewable energy plants by around 2030".
