Conclusion of agreements, including amendments, to establish childcare support company, TCK Global Education LLC

Chubu Electric Power announces that today it has entered into agreements with Alpha Corporation (“Alpha Corporation”) to amend the investor agreement for the establishment of TCK Global Education LLC (“TCK”), a childcare support company, and with Helsinki International Schools Group (“HEI”) regarding its operation.

Initially, our company planned to establish TCK in collaboration with Helsinki Education Pty Ltd (Headquarters: Victoria, Australia; Director: KAM MING YU; “Helsinki”), which operates HEI's early childhood education program in Australia, and Alpha Corporation, which operates childcare services in Japan（Press release issued on February 4, 2025）.

As a result of subsequent discussions, the framework will change so that our company and Alpha Corporation will establish TCK. HEI, a Finnish educational research institution that distributes licenses and curriculums for HEI Schools (Note) worldwide, will be directly involved in dispatching Finnish teachers. This will provide a higher quality of service than originally planned, as teachers with experience in HEI's educational philosophy and curriculum at the kindergartens in Finland will be involved in the operation.

HEI Schools Nagoya Sakae, an international preschool located in The Landmark Nagoya Sakae, currently under development in Naka-ku, Nagoya City will open as scheduled in April 2026.

We will continue to provide services that enrich our customers' lives, including childcare support services, and contribute to solving local issues and revitalizing the community.

(Note) It is a Finnish-style early childhood education program developed by HEI based on research at the University of Helsinki, and is currently being implemented in more than 14 countries around the world (as of July 31, 2025).
