Conclusion of Agreement on Mutual Cooperation in Disaster

Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ("JMSDF") Headquarters Yokosuka District (Commander of Yokosuka District: Tomohiko Madono) , Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. (President & Director: Kingo Hayashi) and Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Inc. (President & Director: Ryuichi Shimizu) have today signed an agreement aimed at fostering cooperation in peacetime to ensure smooth mutual assistance during various disasters.

1. Title of the Agreement

Agreement on Cooperation between JMSDF Headquarters Yokosuka District, Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. and Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Inc.

2. Objective

This agreement aims to establish coordination between the JMSDF Headquarters Yokosuka District, the Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. and the Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Inc. during normal times in order to facilitate mutual cooperation in the event of various disasters.

3. Outline of the Agreement

(1) Sharing of information on damages, etc.
(2) Mutual cooperation during disasters
(3) Conducting periodic meetings and various drills
