Report Submitted to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Pursuant to Article 106, Paragraph 3 of the Electricity Business Act

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. has received a request for reporting from the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry pursuant to Article 106, Paragraph 3 of the Electricity Business Act. This request concerns two matters: first, the discovery of cases involving long-term outstanding settlements with certain business partners regarding part of the safety improvement measures construction work at the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station; and second, the failure of an officer in our nuclear power division to report these facts to the Board of Directors and other relevant bodies for an extended period, in violation of internal regulations.(Press release issued on November 27, 2025)

We hereby announce that we submitted a report to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry today in response to this request for a report.
