Receipt of Report Requested by the Nuclear Regulation Authority Pursuant to Article 67, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Regulation of Nuclear Source Material, Nuclear Fuel Material and Reactors

Today, we received a request for a report from the Nuclear Regulation Authority pursuant to Article 67, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Regulation of Nuclear Source Material, Nuclear Fuel Material and Reactors. This request follows our January 5, 2026 announcement titled "Regarding Inappropriate Matters Concerning the Determination of Design Basis Earthquake for the Compliance Review of the New Regulatory Standards at Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station." The request is for us to conduct a detailed investigation into the facts and causes of this matter.

6 Item 1 shall be reported by March 31, 2026. Items 2 through 5 shall be reported without delay once the content is finalized.
