Commercial operation started on Yahaba Biomass Power Station

Furusato FIC Energy, LLC ("the project company"), a joint venture of Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. ("Chubu Electric Power"), Inabata & Co., Ltd. ("Inabata"), and Furusato Mokuzai Logistics K. K. ("Furusato Mokuzai Logistics"), commenced commercial operation of the Yahaba Biomass Power Station (the "Power Station") today.
Power Station is a wood-fired biomass power plant with an output of 1,990 kW, and is expected to generate approximately 14.5 million kWh per year.
We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of the local community and relevant parties in its construction.
The three investment companies and the project company will operate the station with the utmost consideration for the safety and security of local residents, and will continue to contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society through its operation.
