Construction start of solar power station utilizing unused land in Iwata City and Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture- Aiming for operation start in February 2027 –

We are pleased to announce that we have commenced construction today on the Iwata Sagisaka-kami Solar and Shimada Kikugawa Solar Power Stations (hereinafter referred to as "the Station") on unused land in Iwata City and Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The Station is a solar power facility with a total generation output of 1,055 kW, aimed at beginning operations in February 2027.
Continuing to embrace an eco-conscious mindset, we will proceed to construct the facility while affording the highest priority to safety and with the understanding and cooperation of local residents as well as other relevant parties.

The Chubu Electric Power Group has positioned renewable energy as one of its main power sources that will contribute to achieving a carbon-free society as well as enhancing energy self-sufficiency, and we will continue active development in order to achieve our goal of "an expansion over 3.2 million kW through ownership, construction, and maintenance of renewable energy plants by around 2030".
