Receipt of instructions from the Organization for the Reprocessing of Spent Nuclear Fuel and the Promotion of Decommissioning, pursuant to the Act on the Implementation of Spent Nuclear Fuel Reprocessing and the Promotion of Decommissioning in Nuclear Power Generation

Regarding the inappropriate practices (hereinafter "this matter") related to implementation reports and cost claims submitted to the Spent Fuel Reprocessing and Decommissioning Promotion Organization concerning the dismantling and removal work for Units 1 and 2 of the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant, we received instructions today from the Spent Fuel Reprocessing and Decommissioning Promotion Organization pursuant to the Act on the Implementation of Spent Fuel Reprocessing and the Promotion of Decommissioning in Nuclear Power Generation.

We apologize for any concern or inconvenience this matter has caused to local residents and all relevant parties.

Going forward, we will take appropriate measures in accordance with the instructions.

Contents of the Instructions

1. A detailed report on the facts surrounding this matter and the actual results for fiscal year 2025
2. A report on the investigation into the causes of this matter and measures to prevent recurrence
