Decommissioning of Atsumi Thermal Power Station Unit 1 and Yokkaichi Thermal Power Station Units 1 and 2

Chubu Electric Power would like to announce that today it decommissioned Atsumi Thermal Power Station Unit 1 and Yokkaichi Thermal Power Station Units 1 and 2.
With the understanding and cooperation of local residents and relevant parties, Chubu Electric Power will advance its development plan for Yokkaichi Thermal Power Station with sights set on starting commercial operations of a biomass power generation facility in April 2020. (previously announced on May 15, 2017)
