Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station's FY2019 Schedule for Transportation of New Fuel

Chubu Electric Power is planning to transport new fuel, spent fuel, and low-level radioactive waste in FY2019 as provided below.
The following is the transportation schedule as of today, and is subject to future change.

We will be returning drums with swelling paint film as reported in "Peeling Paint on Low Level Radioactive Waste (drums) (update)" on March 13, 2019. Details are as follows.

The container will be loaded onto a truck at the Chubu Electric dedicated quay at Omaezaki Port. The container will then be driven to the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station, escorted by two other vehicles. |

We will begin detailed investigations as soon as possible after the drum arrives at the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station. We will be publishing the results as reports are compiled. |
