Conclusion of the Basic Plan Agreement for Post-20th Asian Games Athletes' Village Utilization Project

The consortium led by Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. ("Consortium") concluded the Basic Plan Agreement for Post-20th Asian Games Athletes' Village Utilization Project ("Basic Plan Agreement") today with Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City ("Prefecture and City") and the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organizing Committee ("Organizing Committee").
The Consortium has been in discussions to conclude the Basic Plan Agreement ever since the conclusion of the Basic Agreement in February 2022 (announced on February 3, 2022).
The concluded Basic Plan Agreement is an agreement among the Prefecture and City, the Organizing Committee, and the Consortium on the basic plan for the post-games utilization project and stipulates various necessary procedures for the smooth implementation of the post-20th Asian Games Athletes' Village utilization project and Athletes' Village development.
The Consortium will collaborate with the Prefecture and City and the Organizing Committee and proceed with the project according to plan toward the opening ceremony in around 2028, aiming to create a sustainable, next-generation community where diverse people can connect, help each other solve social problems, and foster happiness together with the unique concept of "Wellness Association" that includes arrangement of the facilities in line with the Basic Concept’s themes of "liveliness"," "residence," "relaxation," and "learning."
