February 03, 2022
Chubu Electric Power Co.,Inc.
In December 2021, the Chubu Electric Power-led consortium (“the consortium”) submitted an application to Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City (“Prefecture and City”) for changes made to the consortium members and proposal content with regards to the “Post-20th Asian Games Athletes’ Village Utilization Project,” for which the consortium was selected as a candidate on June 24, 2021.
Today, the Prefecture and City approved this application, and the “Basic Agreement for the Post-20th Asian Games Athletes’ Village Utilization Project” was concluded.
The basic agreement serves to verify the decision of the consortium as candidate for this project, as well as items regarding various procedures that are required before conclusion of the basic plan agreement for the Post-20th Asian Games Athletes’ Village Utilization Project.
The consortium aims to create a sustainable, next-generation community where diverse people can connect, help each other solve social problems, and foster happiness together, based on the unique concept of "Wellness Association," in addition to the arrangement of facilities in line with the themes of "liveliness," "residence," "relaxation," and "learning" in the basic concept.
We will be conferring with Aichi Prefecture, Nagoya City, and the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organizing Committee to put together a more detailed plan for this project.
