Personnel Changes in Executive Positions

The three Chubu Electric Power companies, including Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Inc. and Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc. have outlined in the "Outline of the New Mid-Term Management Plan" a strategic direction focused on energy businesses—such as ensuring a stable supply and providing low- decarbonization," while expanding into businesses expected to generate synergies with the energy sector to address customer needs and societal challenges. Furthermore, as one of the measures to address the inappropriate practices related to the formulation of standard seismic motions during the review of the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant's compliance with the new regulatory standards (hereinafter "this matter"), the companies have committed to undertaking "organizational and cultural transformation."(Press release issued on April 28, 2026)
With this in mind, the three Chubu Electric Power companies, including Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Inc. and Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc. will implement personnel reassignments for approximately 1,700 executives and managers effective July 1.

In this round of personnel changes, we will implement strategic assignments aimed at accelerating initiatives related to DX and AX, as well as strengthening management across the entire Group.
In addition, to promote "organizational and cultural transformation," we will facilitate personnel exchanges between the Nuclear Division and other divisions, and assign HRBPs (Note) to the Nuclear Division.
Regarding personnel exchanges, we plan to implement them sequentially even after these recent executive-level personnel changes, with the aim of broadening perspectives through interaction among employees with different work cultures and values, and of fostering communication both within and outside the Nuclear Power Division.

(Note) HRBP (Human Resources Business Partner): A human resources professional who, as a partner to business divisions, works alongside division heads and others to plan and execute the recruitment, development, and placement of personnel necessary for the realization of business strategies and plans.
