Revision of Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station's FY2020 Schedule for Transport of New Fuel and Other Substances

Chubu Electric Power hereby announces that the following revisions have been made to the schedule for transport of new fuel and other substances, notification of which was provided on March 31, 2020 in the press release entitled "Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station's FY2020 Schedule for Transport of New Fuel."

Global Nuclear Fuel-Japan Co., Ltd., which manufactures and stores new fuel for Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station's Units 4 and 5, submitted a request to Chubu Electric Power, asking if new fuel could be delivered early as a way of facilitating work being performed at the company's plant to comply with new regulatory requirements. Chubu Electric Power considered the request and made the decision to have new fuel transported in FY2020.
