Chubu Electric Power Honored as 2021 Health & Productivity Stock

Today, Chubu Electric Power is pleased to announce that we have been honored among the companies included in the 2021 Health & Productivity Stock Selection, a program organized jointly by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange that seeks to promote health and productivity management (see note).

(Note) "Health and productivity management" is a registered trademark of the Workshop for the Management of Health on Company and Employee.

The Health & Productivity Stock Program promotes efforts by companies to manage health and productivity by selecting Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed companies that have demonstrated excellent health and productivity management and presents these companies as attractive from the perspective of investors who emphasize rising corporate value from a long-term perspective.

Chubu Electric Power has provided a full complement of health management services, including free comprehensive medical examinations for all employees since April 2019 as well as an occupational health staff that provides detailed health guidance to employees based upon their examination results. In FY2019, Chubu Electric Power also established a management committee focusing specifically on safety and health to promote health and productivity management in an integrated manner unifying executive management, labor union representatives, occupational health staff, and other concerned parties.

Chubu Electric Power will further enhance our competitiveness as we strengthen health and productivity management initiatives and continue to maintain a safe and healthy environment where our employees are able to devote themselves to their occupations.
