Power station overview
The maintenance flow amount will be taken from the existing water intake opening on the right bank of the Shimohara dam, and channeled to the downstream side through the pipeline which will be newly constructed, and power will be generated using the water turbine/generator in the shaft. After power generation, the water will be discharged directly underneath the dam, as it is currently the case.
