Chubu Electric Power and Karadanote Will Promote Efforts to Begin Services to Support Parents Raising Young Children ~We Will Transmit Information Offering Support for Child-Rearing Concerns from Pregnancy/Childbirth up to High School Graduation~

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. (President & CEO: Kingo Hayashi; “Chubu Electric Power”) and Karadanote, Inc. (President: Tatsuya Sato; “Karadanote”) will begin life event marketing to consider the expansion of services and content aimed at supporting parents with young children through their company apps.
Child-rearing involves large changes over a short duration of time, from pregnancy and childbirth to when your children start learning and going through school, and your interests and concerns change daily at each life stage. In order to transmit information that fits the needs of parents with young children, this year we will hold joint campaigns and marketing demonstrations tailored to life events for the app customers of both companies. We will validate the results of our efforts for this fiscal year and aim to begin services and expand content at an early stage.
Chubu Electric Power developed the school communication network service “Kizuna Net” mainly in the Chubu area, and has provided information regarding crime and disaster prevention, career support, academics, and childcare support targeted mainly at kids from preschool to high school age. By developing a service with Karadanote, which has an abundant customer base made up of households with expectant mothers or infants/toddlers and marketing knowhow regarding this group, we will be able to provide continuous support starting at the pregnancy stage. Also, in the future, we will aim to provide a new form of community to resolve social issues in the community from a child-rearing standpoint.
Karadanote provides apps relating to pregnancy and childbirth, childcare, and blood pressure/medication management under a vision of “supporting family health and putting smiles on faces.” It also provides life event marketing support in order to resolve lifestyle issues and enrich people’s lives by matching app users with businesses that provide lifestyle commodities and services. Through its collaboration with Chubu Electric Power, we will demonstrate information transmission and communication support for businesses and users in the Chubu region.
Both companies will be a strong ally of parents raising young children, bringing more smiles to families and contributing to the further development of the local community.
