Commencement of Construction Work on the Atsumi Wind Power Station

Chubu Electric Power began construction work on the Atsumi Wind Power Station today.

The Atsumi Wind Power Station, to be constructed in Tahara-shi, Aichi Prefecture, is an onshore wind power station with a power output of 7,400 kW, and is scheduled to begin commercial operation in March 2023.

With the cooperation and understanding of the local community and related parties, construction will proceed with safety as the highest priority.

The Chubu Electric Group positions renewable energy as one of our main power sources, as it contributes to decarbonization and higher energy self-sufficiency rate, and we will continue active development with a goal of contributing to an increase in renewable energy by 3.2 million kW or more by around 2030.

Estimated annual power output
