Selection and Application for New Prime Market Segment

Chubu Electric Power is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors adopted a resolution at today’s meeting to select and apply for the Prime new market segment of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, which will restructure its division in April 2022.

On July 09, 2021, we received the results of the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s first decision on our compliance with its standard for maintaining a listing in the new market segment, confirming that we comply with the standard for a listing in the Prime market segment.

We will proceed to file the subsequent procedures according to the schedule specified by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
