Chubu Electric Power Recognized as a "DX Certified Operator" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. has applied for the DX (Digital Transformation) Certification initiative established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and was recognized as a "DX Certified Operator" today.

The DX Certification initiative, based on the Act on Facilitation of Information Processing, certifies companies as "DX Certified Operators" which are ready to promote digital transformation, and meet the basic requirements specified in the "Digital Governance Code." (Note)

Chubu Electric Power Group is promoting two DX initiatives: “customer service transformation," in which we transform our business model to deliver new value tailored to the needs of individual customers through the growth and success of each of our employees, who represent the very essence of our corporate value, and “business transformation", in which we seek to enhance our operations through the use of digital technology and data and achieve a better life-work balance.

In addition, today we have established the DX Strategy Promotion Office, which is responsible for promoting DX and IT strategies as well as digitalization, with the aim of further promoting DX throughout our group.

Through the promotion of DX, we will achieve sustainable growth together with all of our stakeholders.
