Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. has today decided to implement a plan for the development of a mega-solar power station in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City.

This plan will see the construction of an 8 MW solar power station (Chubu Electric's largest) on land owned by the company in Miho, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. Chubu Electric is already proceeding with the development of Mega Solar Taketoyo and Mega Solar Iida and this new development will therefore represent the third of our mega-solar power stations.

In the future, we will work together with Shizuoka City to win the understanding and the cooperation of local residents, and we will consult with all entities involved in the plan, beginning with Shizuoka Prefecture, at the same time we provide explanations and guidance.
