Hosting of "Chuden Ecosession for Elementary School Students 2011"

On December 14, Chubu Electric will host the "Chuden Ecosession for Elementary School Students 2011." The event is intended to create an opportunity for children, who will lead the next generation, to share their hopes and dreams about the environment and energy and think about related issues. The "Chuden Ecosession" was commenced at the time of the Exposition of Global Harmony in July 2005, and this will be the sixth time that we have hosted the event.

Educating the next generation about energy and the environment is one of our important activities, and we are committed to continuing educational support activities designed to increase the awareness of the children who are our future concerning energy and environmental problems.

Presentation on energy and environmental studies conducted at each school (including environmental and energy lessons and power station tours organized by Chubu Electric).

13:45  2nd Session "Eco Talk" Session
Theme:  "Let's think about the amazing ways to save energy and generate power that we will have 50 years in the future!"
Speakers:   Six students representing the participating schools, Yoshizumi Ishihara (actor and television weather forecaster), and Akihisa Mizuno (President & Director of Chubu Electric Co., Inc.)
