Results of the Investigation into Contaminated Soil at the Site Scheduled for the Construction of Mega Solar Shimizu

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. implemented an investigation into soil samples taken at certain areas at the site scheduled for the construction of Mega Soar Shimizu (Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City) based on the results of the prior Geographical and Historical Survey. We hereby inform you that the results of this investigation detected levels of lead and chromium hexavalent that exceed the standard values stipulated in the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act.

Construction work from now on will be carried out in accordance with appropriate measures based on the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act.
