Start of New Construction Work on Mega Solar Shimizu

Chubu Electric Power would like to announce the start of new construction work at the Mega Solar Shimizu site today.
Land preparation and other civil engineering work are under way, and electrical work will start in FY2013. Commencement of operations is scheduled for February 2015.
In the meantime, a ceremony of prayers for safety will be held on October 23.
We will be grateful for the understanding and cooperation of local residents and other parties concerned as the construction work proceeds, and will endeavour to carry out all work safely.
