Transportation (Return) of New Fuel from Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station Reactor No. 1 Completed

This is to announce that, in keeping with our decommissioning plan for Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station Reactor No. 1, we have returned new fuel that had been in storage at the reactor's new fuel storage facility. Details of the fuel's return are below.

Fuel assemblies were shipped in shipping containers meeting the technical standards prescribed by law.
Global Nuclear Fuel-Japan Co., Ltd. is the owner of the shipping containers.
Future shipping plans
As announced on September 21, 2012 and December 13, 2012, all FY2012 transportation of new fuel, including return of new fuel assemblies, has been completed with this shipment.
Detailed plans for FY2013 shipments will be finalized following consultation with all parties concerned.
