Commercial Operation Begins at all Tokuyama Hydroelectric Power Station Units

Chubu Electric Power would like to announce that the company today started commercial operation of the Tokuyama Hydroelectric Power Station Unit 1.

Unit 1's commercial operation follows Unit 2, which went online in May 2014, and marks the launch of all Tokuyama Hydroelectric Power Station Units.

Chubu Electric Power would like to extend its deep gratitude to local residents and relevant parties for their understanding and cooperation toward the construction of the Tokuyama Hydroelectric Power Station.

With the Station starting operations, the annual amount of reduced CO₂ emission is expected to reach 150,000 t-CO₂

Max. water consumption	Unit1:82.38m³/s、Unit 2:18.97m³/s The total maximum water consumption of Units 1 and 2 amount to 100.4 m³/s
