FY2016 Second Half Electric Power Sales Results

Sold amount of electricity was affected by switch to other operators due to developed competition, but YoY increase rate was 0.8% at 61,427 GWh due to increase of sales in the metropolitan area and increase of operation of heating equipment affected by air temperature.

1 Low voltage electricity (residential customers) 

Although there is impact of energy conservation and impact due to switch to other operators, YoY increase rate was 3.0% at 20,737 GWh due to increase of sales in the metropolitan area and increase of operation of heating equipment as temperature during winter transitioned lower than the previous year.

2 High-/extra high-voltage electricity (office building, commercial facility, and factory customers)

Although there is impact due to switch to other operators, YoY increase rate concluded to only a 0.3% drop at 40,690 GWh due to increase of sales in the metropolitan area and increase of production of automobile components and semiconductors.
